Jesus Christ: The Only Way
The Bible says in Matthew 7 “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. What is the way to heaven? Christ clearly answers this in the books of John:
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (John 14:6 KJV)
Not only is He the Way but He is also the Bread of Life…
And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst. (John 6:35 KJV)
I am that bread of life. (John 6:48 KJV)
I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (John 6:51 KJV)
The Light of the World…
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12 KJV)
I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. (John 12:46 KJV)
He is the Door…
Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. (John 10:7 KJV)
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. (John 10:9 KJV)
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. (John 10:10 KJV)
The Good Shepherd…
I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. (John 10:11 KJV)
I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. (John 10:14 KJV)
The Life…
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: (John 11:25 KJV)
The Vine…
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. (John 15:1 KJV)
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. (John 15:5 KJV)
With out Christ, it is impossible to enter into the Heavenly kingdom, because we have violated the standard of God and He can not allow those things which are unholy into His kingdom. Christ came so that we, threw Him, might have everlasting life.
Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:10-12 KJV)
