An acquaintance with what is true and useful, and with the mode of introducing it to the minds of others, is of vastly more importance to a preacher, teacher, or lecturer, than a knowledge of all the horrors, prejudices, superstitions, and abominations, with which the minds of his hearers may have been filled.
